While still a sidei, Joo Hee visits the countryside in the summer and meets Joon Ha (Cho Seung Woo). They explore the countryside together. Before they parted Joo Hee gave him a necklace, which he kept as a reminder of their precious memories. However, the presence of a third party hindered their relationship.
