6 Harry Potter Spells That Fans Have Forgotten

With so many spells introduced in the Harry Potter franchise, it's only natural that fans would forget some of them. Moreover, if then the spell is only used once or very rarely appears in the story. As geeks know, the use of spells in the J.K. Rowling is Harry Potter, so one of the things that's really important.

This franchise is also one of the most popular franchises, as evidenced by the large number of Harry Potter fans in almost all corners of the world. One interesting element that appears in the story itself is the spells used by the characters. This spell can be used for a variety of things. Starting from protecting yourself, attacking enemies, and so on. With so many spells introduced, the fans themselves forgot about some of the other spells. Anything?

Geminio

Geminio or Doubling Charm is one of the spells that appears in the film Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. This spell has the effect that a magician can add or multiply almost anything. However, on the other hand, a magician can also change the Geminio spell into a curse which is then referred to as the "Geminio Curse."

By presenting the curse, anyone who touches an object or object that has been enchanted will multiply. This spell was created by two great magicians, Helixa and Syna Hyslop. Initially, these two wizards created the spell to multiply all the objects in their residence.

Langlock

This is one of the more unusual spells Harry Potter learns in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. By activating the spell, a magician could lock or stiffen a person's tongue so that the victim could not speak. This spell is usually used to silence someone who talks too much or for some other reason.

And it's not surprising then that the wizard who created the Langlock spell was Severus Snape. What's interesting is that besides being able to be used on living things like humans, this spell can be used on spirits like Harry did on Peeves.

Orchideous

Orchideous is actually a very simple and interesting spell. When a magician uses this spell, flowers will appear at the tip of the wand they use. Because this spell is very simple and there is very little risk of errors or accidents, Orchideous is one of the spells that Muggle wizards can teach.

Bouquet Spell aka Orchideous is part of a type of transfiguration spell or a spell to change objects/objects. Unfortunately, there is no information on who created this simple spell. Despite being a simple spell, in the Harry Potter franchise itself Orchideous is only taught in the fourth year of Hogwarts wizarding school in a transfiguration class. Garrick Olivander in the movie Goblet of Fire is one of the users of this spell.

The Refilling Charm

As the name implies, Refilling Charm is a spell that has an effect where objects will magically be refilled if they are empty. For example, by activating this spell, the glass someone drank can be full again. Harry used this spell in Half-Blood Prince when he was trying to fill an empty bottle and also an empty glass during William Weasley and Fleur DeLacour's wedding. What's interesting is that Harry was able to use this spell without the need to say it verbally. Though, he had never done it.

Glisseo

In the wizarding world of Harry Potter, Glisseo is one of the oldest spells ever used. This spell has been around since the 1470s or the Middle Age era. In the story, Glisseio is a spell that can turn any ladder into a flat surface similar to a slide. Originally, this spell was used by the Hogwarts founders on the stairs for the girls' dormitories.

They don't want any boys to enter the girls dorm. However, this mantra doesn't apply to the boys' dorms because they think women are more trustworthy. In the Order of the Phoenix story this spell was activated when Ron tried to get down a woman. Instantly the stairs turned into a flat surface. However, two years later Hermione used this spell to avoid Death Eaters' attacks.

Tarantallegra

Tarantallegra aka Dancing Feet Spell is one of the strangest spells in the world of Harry Potter, which may be the reason why many fans have forgotten it. When a magician casts this spell on a target, the target will start to move uncontrollably. The movements they make seem to make them look like they are dancing.
