This is Kang the Conqueror's Fatal Weakness

When talking about the figure of Kang the Conqueror, most fans will definitely agree that he is one of Marvel's dangerous big bad villains. Where every appearance is always accompanied by a story and also a very big impact, such as the destruction of the timeline and even the universe. This is actually not strange, considering that Kang is a time traveler who knows the past and the future. However, did you know that behind all the horrors and greatness, it turns out that Kang also has 3 very fatal weaknesses. Anything? Let's just talk about it!

Dead Love To Ravonna

Kang's first weakness, which probably all loyal Marvel fans already know, is his immense love for Ravonna Renslayer, a woman and princess of the Carelius kingdom that existed in the 40th century. Because of his love, Kang is willing to do anything for Ravonna. Such as forgiving and even helping the villains or heroes that Ravonna thinks are worthy. Because of this weakness, many generals and troops doubted Kang the Conqueror's ideals.

In the comic Kang the Conqueror, he doesn't even intentionally show this weakness to his younger version. Where young Nathaniel Richards saw Kang's love for Ravonna had made this dangerous villain often cry while drunk. It was at this point that the old Kang, who realized his own weakness, forbade his younger version to fall in love and told him to focus more on conquering the timeline and the universe.

Very Strict Code of Ethics

As we know, Kang is one of the famous Marvel villains who is very cunning and manipulative. He will try to trick or backstab any superhero who gets in his way. However, on the other hand he also has self-esteem and a very strict code of ethics. Where he doesn't want to defeat his enemies in a dishonorable way, like going back in time and then killing the baby versions of the Avengers.

Even though he was proven to have done this, in the end, Kang always regretted the actions that he thought were too cowardly. This code of ethics or rules that are too rigid then becomes Kang's fatal weakness, because in the end his cunning mind always collides with his pride. This often proves to be a hindrance to Kang in executing his plans.

Unoriginal Ideas

Since he first appeared in the 60s, Kang's main goal has never changed at all, namely to dominate a timeline or world. Where to achieve this, Kang often travels through time and uses this power to defeat his enemies. For example, such as pulling weapons and technology from other timelines or summoning troops that exist in the future and the past. But do you realize, even though the execution is interesting, in general, the purpose and method of what Kang is doing has actually been done by other people, aka not original.

Interestingly, the first superhero to notice Kang's weakness was Iron Man. In the Avengers Mech Strike comic, when the Avengers were fighting Kang and his army, Iron Man said that Kang was an unoriginal villain. Unlike Thanos or Doctor Doom who made their own ultimate weapons, for example the Infinity Gauntlet, Kang actually used other people's technology or weapons more often. When he heard his weakness from Iron Man's mouth directly, Kang looked very angry as if admitting his own weakness.

Those are the 3 biggest weaknesses of Kang the Conqueror that other people may rarely realize. If we conclude, all of these weaknesses actually come from himself, such as excessive love, too high self-esteem, and way of thinking that is too practical. All of these weaknesses could have been eliminated had he not been Kang the Conqueror. But since Kang's inner self is making it all happen, in the end it seems like he doesn't even know how to get rid of his weakness.
