What is Live-Action One Piece
This is a TV series made in a live-action version and adapted from Eiichiro Oda's work, One Piece. The One Piece manga itself was first released in 1997 in Weekly Shonen Jump before being adapted in an anime version which premiered in 1999. The popularity of the One Piece series is truly extraordinary, where the manga itself was awarded as the best-selling manga in the world. .
The popularity of One Piece then sparked Netflix's interest in making a live-action project. The first announcement of this project itself took place in January 2020 yesterday. In the announcement, Oda stated that One Piece would be made in a live-action version and broadcast on Netflix. Even so, Oda actually delivered this collaboration project in 2017 before it was officially announced in 2020 yesterday.
When is One Piece Airing
Until now, it is still unknown when the One Piece live-action series will air. The fans themselves are still waiting for official news regarding this from Netflix. It was rumored that the series would be released in 2022 before it was postponed to 2023. And based on the official poster that has been released, One Piece is planned to be released this year. However, the exact schedule itself is still unknown. Even so, again, rumors are circulating that the live-action One Piece will air next summer or to be precise in August.
One Piece Storyline
The storyline of One Piece focuses on the figure of Monkey D. Luffy who lives in the “Golden Age of Pirates.” Luffy is one of the struggling pirates and has a dream to find a treasure called One Piece. By finding this treasure, Luffy will succeed in becoming a pirate king like Gol D. Roger who was able to do this before.
However, the adventure of finding One Piece treasure is certainly not easy and he can't do it alone. Because of that, he later met various other characters who he later recruited to become the 'Nakama' or crew of the Straw Hat Pirates. This storyline will also be adapted in the One Piece live-action series later.
It is known that the live-action series One Piece will have 10 episodes for the premiere of this season. And the storyline that will be adapted is the East Blue Saga, the initial storyline in the manga. In the story itself we see how Luffy's adventures at the beginning of his appearance as a pirate. We will also see Luffy recruiting his initial crew of Straw Hat pirates such as Nami, Sanji, Zoro, and Usopp.

An important detail from the last One Piece live-action is the cast that will play a role in the series. Then, who are they? Some of the cast members who play roles in the live-action series One Piece have appeared frequently in various series, but there are also those whose names you may have just heard of. A few years earlier, leaked information appeared about Netflix seeking cast members to fill in the various main characters. For example:
