New characters in the movie "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes"

This month 20th Century Studios brings back the story of one of its popular franchises in the film "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes."

The film continues the story of the "Planet of the Apes" trilogy about how a virus can make a species of apes develop and eventually dominate the world.

Set decades after Caesar's reign, "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" will introduce new characters and stories at a time when humans live in the shadows and the ape species must confront a tyrannical leader who seeks to build a new kingdom.

The following are the new characters presented in "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" according to Disney Indonesia's press release on Thursday (2/5).

Noa (Owen Teague)

Noa is a young ape from the Eagle clan who must fight to overthrow the tyrannical leader who controls the ape species. Noa, who was previously forbidden to learn about the outside world and never knew the history of mankind, must now go through a dangerous journey and make important decisions to save the people he loves and ensure the relationship between apes and humans in the future.

Anaya (Travis Jeffery) and Soona (Lydia Peckham)

Anaya and Soona are Noa's two friends in the Eagle clan. Anaya, a confident and friendly male monkey, always supports Noa. Meanwhile, Soona, an intelligent and strong female monkey, is a protective figure for Noa and Anaya.

Nova (Freya Allan)

Nova is a human that Noa meets on his journey. Like other humans, Nova lives in the shadows.

Raka (Peter Macon)

Raka is the only orangutan who fully remembers Caesar's teachings about goodness, morality and strength. He lives in an abandoned airport and advocates tolerance and peace with humans. Raka also accompanies Noa on her journey.

Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand)

The leader of the cruel ape kingdom, Proximus, is obsessed with human knowledge. He studies technology, history and human communication systems. He knew the most information about Caesar, and used it for his personal gain.
